During 2022 the prices of building materials in Poland have increased by an average rate of

25%, far higher than the general rate inflation which have reached 16.6%.

Leading the index are thermal insulation materials which increased in 2022 by 42%.

The reason for this dramatic increase lies principally on interruptions of supply lines

due mainly to the war in Ukraine.

Expections are that due to the slowdown in the construction sector, future increases

may be mitigated.
