Inflation for December 2022

The rate of inflation for Poland rose in the month of December

by 16.6% on a year on year basis. That was a reduction of 0.9%

from the previous month. The above data took economists by surprise,

since there was a unanimous projection that inflation in December will reach

17.2% to 17.3%.

Forcasts for 2023 project a further increase in inflation up to March 2023.

After March rates will gradually start to decrease to a point that at the end

of 2023 inflation will record slightly less than 10%
