Inflation in February

Inflation in Poland with respect to Fabruary, reached 18.4% on a year on year

basis.

The Prognosis however is much better. At the end of 2023 the projected rate of

inflation would be 7%. The desired rate of inflation is 3.5%. Such a rate is Projected

only for the end of 2025.

For the average person, most important are the prices of food product. Here inflation

was higher and reached 24.7%. if we break it down to various products, sugar rose by 88%,

milk by 38%, pork by 33.5%, eggs by 35.6%, baked products by 26.6%, vegetables by 22%,

fruits by 18%.
