In November 2022 the number of borrowing transactions secured by mortgage
and their value, has dropped by close to 70%, compared to November 2021.
A year on year decrease amounts to close to 50%.
The rate of the expensive mortgage transactions ( over 500,000 PLN )
have dropped slightly less, Close to 40% annually.
The whole real estate market in Poland is now in a period of hibernation.
the main reason for all of this, the basic rate of interest in Poland is 7.6%.
The banks being afraid of further increases require customers to show a redemption rate of 12%
which of course makes it impossible for a large segment of the population to secure a loan
Diving into the mind of a potential Israeli investor. Prices might eventually fall down.
On the other hand The exchange rate between the Zloty and the Shekel show for the last
2 months a steady increase of the value of the Zloty compared to the Shekel.
from a minimum of one Zloty being 0.70 shekel, to currently 0.79
